Morning everyone...just passing through.

Just wanted to let peeps know that my ex did come through last Wednesday with some loot...it wasn't all that was owed, but it was a nice piece (and it came right on time too!) He was really receptive and cool...wanted to know if we could keep in contact more often and he even had the unmitigated gaul to express desire to see my folks when they come down in July.

They will rake his ass over the coals.....so I think I'm game for that meeting!

He cancelled...apparently his mother was supposed to be sending him some $$, but won't be able to do so until next week.

Morning Folks!

Today's high in the ATL is supposed to be around 71 and sunny!    So basically that means that the kid will be in the salon Saturday morning getting the toes hooked up (you know I can't have jacked up feet when the weather gets nice.)

Tonight's the "dinner" with the ex...this should be interesting to say the very least. More comments later!

Wow...it's been 18 days since I've made a post. Not that there hasn't been anything going on, I just really haven't felt like writing about it. I need to find a system that will allow me to dictate to my Xanga....maybe then y'all will get to see more entries from me.

At any rate, I'm doing well and my place is coming along. I only have a few boxes that I need to finish unpacking (one day I'll get around to it). I've been doing some major window shopping   in the home decor arena (man, I think I'm falling in love with Kirkland's), so as soon as my finances   step up, then it's about to be ON!!

In the personal life...nothing exciting there really. There is someone that I'm interested in, but I really don't think anything's going to come of it. I think that's the story of my life anyway. Maybe I'll make a private post to go into details about it to some of my selected peeps....OH YEAH...one more thing - I got into the office this AM to find an e-mail in my in-box from my ex   (the one that I went to Miami with back in '03). Apparently he wants to see me this week to talk. I wonder if him seeing me on my birthday, the e-mails a few days later and him seeing me @ the Jill Scott concert have anything to do with it? I think only Lisa knows the deal with the demise of the relationship...but basically it didn't end well and it crushed me and my spirit for a while   . But because I've asked God to take the hate out of me when it comes to him, I think that I can go ahead with the meeting (although it would be GREAT to know what he wants to talk about ahead of time.)

So of course...I'll update as I get more information.

I finally saw her in concert last night...and when I tell you that I laughed and cried...PLEEZEBALEEVIT!!! She is sooooo incredibly gifted and her vocals are SICK!!! That was the best dayum $50 I spent this year.

Now if I can just swing tix to see ...then I'll be str8 for the year!
